As a student, I was always drawn to the problem-solving nature of Maths and developed an interest in mathematical logic while exploring ancient scientific texts during my Classics studies. I believe success in STEP stems from mastering the thought process behind each problem rather than rushing through dozens of exercises. I aim to support students preparing for university Maths entrance exams, especially those who enjoy tackling advanced challenges such as STEP.

With an MMath in Mathematics from Cambridge and a strong foundation in logic and theoretical reasoning, I support students preparing for the STEP exam through a focused, structured approach. My experience supervising logic courses at Cambridge has sharpened my ability to break down complex ideas and guide students in developing rigorous mathematical thinking. I help students refine their problem-solving techniques and meet the high standards required for Oxbridge admissions.

I'm Manolis, an experienced STEP tutor with a BA in Mathematics from Oxford. Since 2019, I’ve worked closely with students preparing for Cambridge admissions, offering structured support for STEP II/III, personal statements, and interviews. I’ve helped students bridge the gap between A-Level Maths and university expectations by focusing on clear, rigorous problem-solving. Now in my third year at the University of Cambridge, I’ve combined my interest in engineering with mathematical training.
